One World Trade Center - NEw York, NY

Description

Standing at a height of 1776 feet, the 104-story super tall skyscraper stands on the northwest corner of the 16-acre (6.5 ha) World Trade Center site, occupying the former location of the original 6 World Trade Center.  Designed to be the safest commercial building in the world, it will feature 3 million square feet of office space on 71 office floors, a grand public lobby and an observation deck.  The construction site is very tight and requires careful phasing, staging and logistics to assure high security and minimal disruption to ongoing operations on site and the surrounding business and residential communities.

Scope of Services Provided

NobleStrategy working as a sub-consultant to Tishman Construction provided sustainability management services on the project. The tower is on track to become one of the largest LEED Gold Certified projects, ever, targeting energy use that will be 20 percent below code and featuring advanced indoor air filtration systems, daylight control systems, and waste steam recycling, among other advanced building technologies.

Our team is provided services that included the monitoring, gathering and collection of all LEED project requirements. We were also responsible for the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment, completion of LEED Submittal Templates and reporting of the new comprehensive LEED sustainability program on the project.
