Description
Site Location – The project located at 395-403 University Avenue consists of a new three-story building construction approximately 14,950 square feet, consisting primarily of office spaces, resident bedrooms and living areas, as well as exterior Site improvements and connection to utilities. The building at 395-403 University Avenue is a three-story, wood-framed, load-bearing structure financed by PSEG through their relocation assistance program and property/land purchase form Positive Health care, Inc. for the new PSEG Central Ward Switching Station.
The building serves as the administrative offices for Positive health care, providing AIDS (HIV) awareness and community counseling services, along with a 30-bed residential wellness facility, complete with computer lab, lounge areas, cooking kitchen and fitness center.
Scope of Services Provided
NobleStrategy provided pre-construction and construction support services to the PSEG financial sponsor for the project, relocation assistance for PHC in their temporary facilities provided by PSEG and owners rep for all facets of new construction for the approx.. $9.5 Million project, including support for environmental clearing, site work, construction, City of Newark permitting, inspection and TCO.
